Information about St Deny's Church
St Denys’ Church is a 13th century cruciform Grade I church with 15th century tower and 18th century gallery.
There is a Lady Chapel in the south transept, six bells, and a fine pipe organ. Major repair work has been carried out within the last few years, and the building is in a good state of preservation.
The four-part choir sings on the fourth Sunday of each month, and also two candle-lit carol services on Christmas Eve.
The church is now part of the Lower Windrush Benefice which comprises St Denys’, Northmoor; St Giles’, Standlake; St Michael’s, Stanton Harcourt; and St Nicholas and St Swithun’s, Yelford.
Each church has its own distinct character and personality but they all work together to strengthen the whole.
The Rector is The Rev Jo Hurst
